Why do I need your service? Your home and personal property is a significant investment for your family. Insurance companies must rely on a documented inventory to process a claim. Therefore, you're guaranteeing you and your family a fair and speedy resolution to claim if the need should occur. I already have insurance. Why would I need more than that? Insurance companies strongly recommend thorough documentation of your property. In the event of a claim, generalizations of the contents destroyed or stolen, simply means that your settlement will not be at a less than market value. How will you help in the event of a claim? Once you have become an HIE Member, we will retain a copy of your inventory records in a secure off-site location. In the event of a claim, we will provide this information to your insurance company per your request. If your copy of the inventory has been destroyed, we will provide an additional copy to you at no charge. How much does an inventory by Home Inventory Experts cost? Our service is unique and often customized specifically to the needs of our clients. The main factors in estimating the cost of an inventory are the square footage of your property, size of the rooms and any special items or collections needing to be documented. We encourage you to call (949) 709-2456 for a no-obligation estimate. How do I know that my inventory will be secure with Home Inventory Experts? All inventories are processed at one location and cross referenced only by your HIE Membership Number. This information is then stored off-site in a secure location. We only share this information with other individuals per an approved written request by you, our client. How long will an inventory of my home take? Most often, an inventory will take approximately 3-4 hours. This can vary however, due to the size of your property and the contents to be inventoried.
