We are licensed, bonded and insured.   We offer a broad array of inventory services to meet the needs of our clients. Listed below are our standard services, but keep in mind that we customize these programs as required. Once we determine the inventory recording service to best suit your needs, an HIE Specialist will arrive at your home or small office prepared to spend approximately 3-4 hours with you or the person you've designated as your representative. Digital Video is taken of both the interior and exterior of your home or small business. Digital Photographs of all rooms are taken, in addition to each room's belongings and character. Great detail is taken to ensure the photographs include any special markings, signatures or customizations of certain pieces. This includes all jewelry, collectibles and non-standard items. Digital pictures are also taken of the exterior of your home to note special landscaping, architecture and adornments. Complete Written Inventory is created itemizing all necessary items using descriptions, serial or model numbers or other pertinent information to better identify your property. This will include all appraised property on your insurance policy, all property that should be appraised, collectibles and all non standard property. Your inventory records are then presented in an attractive portfolio that can easily be stored in your safe or safe deposit box. Your inventory records are also kept on file in our secure facility, accessible by only a confidential member number. In the event you lose or misplace your file, we can easily provide an additional copy. HIE Membership Services As a client of Home Inventory Experts, we will notify your insurance company that your inventory is on file with us. In the event of a claim, we provide a Loss Filing Service providing detailed information of your loss to your insurance company. We also offer a Renewal Program to continue this service on a yearly basis. Inventory Updates We urge you to revisit your inventory twice a year. During the first year, we will provide minor updates to your existing inventory at no additional charge. Archiving Services HIE also scans and stores important documents in order to create a permanent record of each item. This service is ideal for birth certificates, Social Security Cards and all items stored in safe deposit boxes.
